BEAUTY WITHOUT CRUELTY The testing of cosmetic products on animals in South Africa has been banned since 2009 but, even before that, Sh’Zen’s policy was never to conduct any animal testing on any of its products, or the ingredients contained therein. Given that the testing of cosmetic products on animals is now illegal, certification is no longer given to confirm this fact.

How did you become a Sh’Zen consultant? I was at a tea party where women were discussing Sh’Zen’s incredible products. Somebody mentioned that I could earn money simply by sharing these popular products. First thing on Monday, I called Head Office to find out more.

How has it changed your life? At the time I joined I was working full time in the tourism industry, plus I was a wife and a mother. Sh’Zen was my escape. I loved pampering myself and others with my favourite products, and attending Sh’Zen’s inspirational workshops.

What do you love most about the business? I love making money and having fun at the same time. After 18 months I gave up my full-time job because I was earning the same income from my part-time job. I now determine my own income, work my own hours and, most importantly, am there for my family. Along the way I have met incredible people, developed phenomenal friendships and discovered so much about myself.

What lessons have you learned? That when you set goals and work hard, anything is possible with Sh’Zen!
