The presentation is about whether children should be allowed to go on holiday during

term time.

What do you think?

ForIt is a good idea to take your children on holiday during

term time because it is cheaper and there are less people. Some arguments for Against taking your

children out of school during term time were that the children would miss out on there education but when

they get back from their holiday they can catch up and wouldn’t miss anything.

Against SAYING NO TO TERM TIME!

Yes, holidays in term time can cut costs of flights and accommodation, and can also give you a longer time doing what you want to do without having to wait in

loads of queues but by going away during school time the children’s education will be disrupted and they will

drop levels in their education.

Our Opinion’s!

Josh thinks that children should be allowed to have holidays in term time because need to have a break once in will and get away from the hard working school work because they

need to enjoy some time with their families.

Sian thinks that children should be allowed to go on holiday in term time because some families are a lot less wealthy

than families and need to go for the cheaper holidays so that the children are happy. Also they need a break from their

school work.

Sydney thinks that children should be allowed holidays in term time because some children that are a little less wealthily want to take their children on holiday but do not have enough money to take them in the holidays. Holidays in the term are a lot cheaper

than holiday’s in the holidays.

Penny thinks that children should only be able to go on holiday in term time if they won’t be behind on their school work. They should be able to be allowed to catch up at school with extra

homework or extra school lessons.

Overall we think that children should be aloud to have term time holidays for several different reasons.
