Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite for the comedyadventure, Paul, as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America's UFOheartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who takes them on an insaneroad trip that alters their universe forever. For the past 60 years, an alien namedPaul has been hanging out at a top-secret military base. For reasons unknown,the space-travelling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the firstvehicle out of town - a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and CliveGollings (Frost). Chased by federal agents, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escapeplan to return Paul to his mother ship.

Following the murder of her father by hired hand Tom Chaney, (Josh Brolin), 14-year-oldfarm girl Mattie Ross (Haitee Steinfeld) sets out to capture the killer. To aid her, she hiresthe toughest U.S. marshal she can find, a man with "true grit," Reuben J. "Rooster"Cogburn (Jeff Bridges). Mattie insists on accompanying Cogburn, whose drinking, sloth,and generally reprobate character do not augment her faith in him. Against his wishes, shejoins him in his trek into the Indian Nations in search of Chaney. They are joined by TexasRanger LaBoeuf, (Matt Damon) who wants Chaney for his own purposes. The unlikely triofind danger and surprises on the journey, and each has his or her "grit" tested.

This belated sequel to hit East is East opens in Salford in 1976. Sajid Khan, probablybest remembered for wearing his Parka coat throughout the first film, is now a teenagerand he is having a terrible time at home and at school. His father, George, sends himhome to Pakistan for a dose of decent values. The film relocates to a small village inPakistan and Sajid is grudgingly submerged in family history. The film also featuresGeorge’s older son Maneer, who has been living in the village in the hope of finding abride, while George himself is forced to face the past and the wife and children he leftbehind 30 years earlier when he moved to England and married a white woman.

Scaredand desperate for revenge, the townspeople call upon famed werewolf hunter FatherSolomon (Gary Oldman) to kill the beast once and for all. Panic grips the town as thedeath toll rises and Valerie discovers she has a unique connection to the wolf thatunavoidably draws them together, making her a potential suspect and bait.

Written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, Killing Bono is an entertaining ‘almost true’story of rock rivalry, guilt and failure and features some engaging performances from theyoung cast. It is also the final screen credit of the late Pete Postlethwaite.

Now itseems that the harder everyone tries to run away from their problems, the faster their livesseem to fall apart.

HOW TO FIND USBy Rail From Ormskirk railway station, walk up Station Approach, turn left atthe top, then right onto Stanley Street. Continue into Knowsley Road and turnleft into St Helens Road. Edge Hill is a quarter of a mile up St Helens Road on theleft hand side. The walk from the railway station is approximately 15 minutes.

By Motorway From the M6, leave at junction 26 (M58-Skelmersdale). Fromthe M58, exit at junction 3, taking the A570 towards Southport and Ormskirk.Edge Hill is two miles from the junction on the right hand side.

By Bus From Ormskirk Bus Station, turn left and then right at the trafficlights into Knowsley Road. Then follow the directions as by rail.
