Roll of the DiceWith your table group: One person will roll the die. If it lands on 1, each

person in the group will verbally answer question #1. If it lands on #2, answer question #2, etc. Take turns rolling the die until everyone has rolled at least once.

About us…we have lots of similarities! Kids engaged!!!!

EU’s and EQ’s posted… and referring back to them

Greetings at the door

Do now’s, bell ringers, BOCA… and kids were doing it!

What I Noticed The First Couple Weeks…

Student choice (books, scenarios)

Smiling (teachers and kids!) – relationships

Technology (Smartboards that the kids were using… and fixing!)

Probing questions (tell me more about that, is there a different way?, how do you know?)

Feedback – specific (teacher/student and student/student)

Norms developed and posted… some even had consequences!

comfortable environment conducive to learning… with food and drinks and humor
