Mission Statement

The mission of the Pender Public School District is to provide quality educational opportunities in a safe, positive learning environment that motivates and challenges all students to become productive and responsible citizens.

We are off and running! Cheering for boys and girls varsity contests. Lots and lots of compliments! 13 Cheerleaders

Student Teachers

We have two new student teachers with us for the second semester.

Both are from Wayne State College.– Bayli Klein is student teaching with Mrs. Von in

Math.– Tyler Niehus is student teaching with Mr. Oliver in

PE. He is also helping with JH girls basketball and HS boys basketball.

6 New Students

Option enroll student has returned to PHS. Young lady on alternate class schedule has

returned after taking some time off from school. Transfer student (sophomore girl) from Centura

Public Schools. New foreign exchange student with Joel and Joleen

Splitgurber. Serena Pellecchia is a senior from Italy. Two new students transferring from Allen. (junior

girl, senior girl)

Caught Doing The Right Thing

• Cheerleaders – Working so hard and putting themselves out there! Have taken on the project of picking up trash after Pender crowd clears out. Gotten many nice compliments.
