Survey Question #1 Priorities 1-71. Bring in visual, literary, and performing artists from Cape Ann and beyond as

speakers/ mentors2. Have more gatherings for members where they can network and talk to each

other about their work3. Have learning workshops (e.g. photographing your work, basic bookkeeping,

computer skills, etc.) 4. Sponsor a mentoring program where a more experienced artist will give

time to a less experienced artist5. Participate in the development of artist owned live-work studio space6. Provide more opportunities for exhibition/performance on Cape Ann and

elsewhere7. Participate in advocacy and training: become an arts and cultural

ambassador; help to articulate a compelling case for artists, community needs, and your organization; lobby for the arts and align with local, state, and national agendas

• Survey Question #2 Are you aware of these programs funded in partnership with the MCC?

• A. Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) Residency Program--supported by RNAC with partial funding from seARTS and open to all visual artists to apply; provides three one-month residencies with live-work studio space on Rocky Neck; deadline for being considered by the jury is April 15th (for more info go to RNAC.org)

• B. RNAC Distinguished Artist/Teacher in Residence (one week program)--artist/teacher will give a lecture at the Cape Ann Museum (a partnership with seARTS and RNAC), followed by studio visits andclasses for interested artists

• C. Partner with an Artist Grants--Four to six artists selected by jury to create collaborative and innovative arts projects with Cape Ann's local businesses; each grant is $1500

• D. Gloucester New Arts Festival (GNAF)--integrates high quality, innovative, original performance and art work into community andpublic space
