• Scott’s Testimony:

Scott and his wife Juliette have been in YGY 3 ½ years. Ygy found them. Scott was formerly in network marketing owned his own, and has worn many different hats.

Scott developed some significant health issues about 4 ½ years ago. Always kept himself healthy. They faced very scary times with his health. It started by him becoming dizzy/feelings of nausea. He didn’t want to tell his family or go to the Dr. He didn’t want to be told what he felt he already knew. Developing significant headaches/balckouts, etc.

Began praying – falling back on his faith. He went to the Dr finally. Much pain. Degenerated bone disease/osteoperosis of the skull. Bones were disintegrating/nerves were pinching/muscles began shrinking in a big way.

The only thing left to do was to take drugs. Didn’t do anything. Put him finally on oxycoton/oxycodon he was always in pain unless he took those med’s – some relief. Just 2 point of relieve was something.

Miracle happened when someone referred him – the milkman… an acquaintance. He prayed and prayed for something – least likely – a milkman. He went to the coffee shop – the milkman drove 3 hours to go and see him.

Tom Chenault showed up at the coffee shop. The milkman asked Scott if he knew Tom as he passed the table. Scott said “no”. Getting agitated. Tom and Scott spoke for about 10 minutes and then his pain med’s began wearing off so he wanted to get out of there and go home.

They exchanged information – put Scott on the phone with Dr Wallach. He told Scott the good news is “if you do exactly as I say, you will be well”. If you don’t take my advice, you will be dead in 30 days.

Tom took Scott to San Diego and meet everyone at Youngevity. He had to deal with getting well – and see progress. He needed that to happen so he could be selfless – he needed to get well and that took time. Tom took the time to get to know Scott – kept asking and inviting him to Super Saturday’s but took things at Scott’s pace. 2012 rolled around and they have not stopped in his work with Youngevity. He is completely out of pain, vibrant and well! He doesn’t take one day for granted. Every day it’s about paying it forward.

• The hardest way to recruit people into the business, is to find them when they are in serious health issues. You can – and that’s ok, but people need to see the plan – what is the whole picture of Youngevity.

• People need to know how to do the basics of this business. Don’t limit yourself to just talking about the products. Open the door to any possible scenario that could occur in Youngevity.

• Set an appointment – don’t be bias to one side of the coin or another – product/business.

• I’d love to get an hour of your time with an open mind. (when you say this, you are putting your trust on the line)

• Don’t panic in different conversations – Scott doesn’t preach, qualify, quantify

• 2 subjects: Health/Financial Health

• Only some people don’t feel good right now physically. Almost everyone is sick financially.

• Dave Ramsey – his books are incredible! Modern day all time great when it comes to money management.

• Book: Total Money Makeover

97% of Americans today are living paycheck to paycheck or less. Stress is added to the household.

The love of money is the root of all evil. When you don’t have enough money that is when evil creeps in. It’s when all you think about all the time is “money”. Too many people is that is all they think about. Youngevity is liberating – give people a total money makeover with Youngevity.

This is Scott’s focus the past 26 years is to serve people – show them the plan.

• Tom asked Scott questions: Goals/dreams/what is more important than anything/priorities/money important to make for family. He did get a copy of Dead Dr’s Don’t Lie. Got the products and used them – all that time they were on the fast track to see Dr Wallach.

• Tom basically did the Coffee Shop interview with Scott. • Scott does a similar concept – when he meets with someone he

likes to ask them more strategic questions so that he isn’t wasting his or their time.

• “hey – what is your plan B” if plan A doesn’t work – what will you do next”. You tune into where people are at in their career. He wants to get to that point first over anything else. If people are happy and have more than they need, he has found that will bring people in the door a little more quickly.

• Invitation – hour of time open mind – they say yes or no.• Then he has an hour long appt with them as the 2nd step. Invites

them to a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights. Meet other people. If not possible, then he will sit down with them one on one.

• Do you give people literature at the appointment. Getting to know them. He will take the 2 sided tablet presentation Business plan/overview on glossy. Item # MOD0613

• It’s the story of Youngevity and practically put together. • #1 Phase 1 of showing the plan. Tell them his story – but short testimony, don’t overwhelm

them. If their health is fine, they probably won’t be interested in your testimony. He finds out their story so he can hear a particular piece of information that is their “HOT BUTTON”. Then take that lead from what you know they could be interested in.

• Phase #3 The comp plan

• We are a family of brands – shop within our family of brands and the convenience. Just like Sam’s ….. We have a one time membership fee of $25. And we get paid for showing and referring people to shop with Youngevity, a family of brands.

• If you’ll team up with me for the next couple of years and be a student… • Pain the picture of what that freedom (financial and health) will look like – you bring it back

to them –what is it they said to you. Paint a very real business model to them. Use analogy’s that are in the real business world. If you do things right speak to people correctly and respond to people. You get a push back when you start preaching and pushing.

• People want to know:• 1. Is Youngevity legitimate • 2. Can I do this• 3. Will you help me

• Don’t write people off – come back to them periodically.

Ask people: what’s your exit strategy? Plan B? retirement?

When people have objections like I don’t want to take this stuff/product or company. He empathizes with them and said his Dr said to take them, etc. Everybody has the Dr Wallach. People should not discredit him.

There is a practicing medical Dr inside youngevity. That persons goal is to eliminate perscriptions.

Just make sure if you give out a cd you have already established that appointment first.

Get 4 people involved with you first – duplicate from there to have a more effective meeting and it grows.

call – make sure people have 2 or 3 things they can plug into.

Sometimes you can say too much. People make decisions based on feelings, not on facts. They will join you based on how they feel.
