TSSAA West Tennessee Regional Meeting Ike White of Westwood High School represents the Ninth Athletic District as a member of the TSSAA Board of Control (BOC). His term expires December 2015. This is a very influential seat and more than half the schools in the 9th district participate in Shelby County School Athletics. In order not to split the vote, SCS Principals have voted on who they would like to be nominated to represent this area:

Each member school of the Athletic District that is represented at the meeting by the principal, or other faculty member, shall be entitled to one vote. The TSSAA West TN Regional Meeting on Novem-ber 4th at 1:00 pm at University School of Jackson, 232 McClellan Road, Jackson, TN.
