“To create global citizens and leaders to tomorrow, through traditional values of Love, Empathy, Discipline and Respect-21st century citizens who think globally and act locally”.

The Library at Indus Bangalore is privileged to support the School’s march towards its vision “To be the Eagles of new ideas and innovators in all the fields”. It strives to connect outstanding faculty and brilliant students to the knowledge and state of the art of their disciplines, and thereby strengthens the aspirations and expectations of the research and teaching at IIS.

As list of approved vendors is maintained in the library. Based on cost and budget availability and after approval by the Principal, the purchase order is placed to the vendor. The delivery period is depends upon books from 1 month to 2 month.

ESSENTIAL AGREEMENTS IN THE LIBRARY

“Our Library is our Learning Resource Centre”

1. All students from Prep I-Grade XII are eligible to access the library soon after their admission into the school.

2. Even though Middle school and DP students do not have Library classes they can issue books. They need to get Permission slips duly signed by their respective coordinators when they visit the library.

3. The Library should be used for reading and research and not as a Meeting place.4. Personal books/belongings/bags need to be kept at the Baggage counter near the

entrance of the library.5. Library users are expected to return or renew books within the Due Date.6. Pls don’t keep the books for long time as others also need to use the same.7. Please respect that Library is a quiet area. 8. Teach students about Library Usage and Importance.
