the Timberline stable.

Timberline were establishedsome 15 years ago and havegrown to be one of the UK’sleading manufacturers andproviders of play equipment andbuildings for educational andcommercial applications…primary schools, secondaryschools, colleges, nurseryschools, play centres, holidayparks, hotels, care homes etc.

Timberline employ in excess of100 people, and in the last 6years alone have manufacturedand installed more than £40million worth of equipment the

length and breadth of the UK.

And following closely on theheels of this “commercial”demand has come an ever-increasing call for high qualityequipment for the home andgarden.

Not only wooden equipment, notonly play centres which havebeen our traditional mainstay, buta range of high quality and veryattractive children’s play housesand play lodges. And then for theparents…. and their parents!….an ever-broadening range ofbuildings for all sorts of leisureapplications …… alfresco dining,garden studios, workrooms,home offices, summerhouses….the following pages introduceyou to the great breadth of ourprogramme.

But increasingly, particularly withan ever more mature population,there is a call for fitness in thehome environment. The Swim

Spa has become very popular,and our particular variation onthat theme…. The Swimgym.Ideal for use in a garden setting,but equally ideal for incorporationwithin a room as part of the mainbuilding. A conservatory. Agarage. A cellar.

And the buildings which we havedesigned especially for housingthe Swim Spa or the Swimgym…attractive Colonial style buildingswhich are a joy to use and adelight to look at.

And last but by no means least, arange of hot tubs which are alsomanufactured by our company,fully detailed on pages 68-73,these hot tubs represent the

ultimate in relaxation andtherapy.

We gave a lot of thought to thenaming of our company….Santella Leisure Products Ltd….underlining the fact that wemanufacture a line of productsdesigned essentially for leisureand home health and enjoymentwithin the home environment, beit the house or the garden.

A new company, but part of afamily group of companies with along tradition of aesthetics,quality and pride in saying that itis “made in the UK”.

The Mountain Range was developed in 2010, and inresponse to the ever-growing call for a range of playcentres that offers the very best in terms of value,versatility of play, quality and attractiveness of design.We have 2 size ranges…. The Sierra and The Alpine.

The Mountain Range is distinguished from our ClassicRange as the systems are prefigured into set packages.This enables us to benefit from production efficienciesthat we are able to pass on to our customers. Inaddition, the Mountain Range is supplied treated, butunstained, as on page 5, giving yet further efficiencies inmanufacture without compromising the quality or lifeexpectancy of the product. Throughout this section, weshow the towers in both the natural unstained, thetreated finish, and also what they would look like if theywere stained. As a suggestion, we have used Sadolinsand Farrow and Ball colours, and we would be only toopleased to provide fuller details if this would help.

Classic RangeWe have retained the name “Classic”because the play centres shown on thefollowing pages are the Timberline Classicrange of products designed and marketedover a number of years. The Woodlander,the Skylander, the Jumbolander, and theDreamlander, in varying versions such asthe Midi and the Maxi.

The Classic Range differs from theMountain Range in so far as it comes fullystained/painted. The orientation is for thecustomer to choose/decide. We custombuild and install within the price entirely tothe customer’s requirements. We arehappy to come and visit you at your homeand propose a tailor made package asthese illustrations suggest.

And with unique styling. The substantial“cranked” support legs are a speciality ofours, providing not only an attractiveappearance but also tremendous stabilitybecause of the wide spread of the towerload over a large surface area. The Classicrange is considered as our “bespoke”range and offers to the customer a widerange of choice…. Different orientation ofitems like swing beams, steps, slides andmonkey runs. Different sizes, i.e. the Midiand the Maxi.

Swimgyms for Outdoors


How many people have heard of a swim spa? A productgaining increasing worldwide acceptance as combining thebenefits of a swimming pool and a hot tub, but Santellahave taken it a stage further. The Swimgym is modular, andas the photographs illustrate, it can be fed in through thesmallest of apertures, even a window. This offers a hugenumber of advantages, enabling customers to use aconverted garage, an unwanted outbuilding, a spare room,a conservatory or a beautiful Santella Swim Lodge.

And it looks most attractive. With profiled boarding, theproduct looks natural. Natural in an indoor setting. Naturalin a garden setting.

And with the “cutting edge” technology of the world’s poolindustry, a dazzling array of high quality equipment in theway of countercurrent swimming systems, heating, heatpump heating, underwater lights, water filtration and watertreatment…. Everything that goes towards making themaintenance simple and the running costs minimal.

So, why is it called a Swimgym? Because it is a productthat offers a choice of health activities and to the degreeand extent that you choose in your own homeenvironment. When you want to. In privacy. With friendsand family. Or on your own.

And above all, a fabulous degree of insulation and heatretention. We are all increasingly aware of the need toconserve energy, to conserve rain forests and to save theplanet!

And so that is why we have developed a range of hottub lodges. Octagonal. Square. Oval. And in turn, in arange of styles…. The basic format being a roofsupported by substantial corner posts. A more

sophisticated version with side panelling, and yet withanother version offering glazing on all sides, and finallythe very attractive bi-fold door version.
