Please note that the Minutes of the General Conference of the Schwenkfelder Church for October 30, 1869, state, “ that memorial stones or grave stones be placed [at the graves of] preachers buried in Lower Salford. George Meschter volunteered to take care of this and costs should be covered by congregaon-wide voluntary contribuons,” therefore, these are not tombstones placed at me of death. [Thank you to Dr. L.
