At intersection of Allentown Road and Fretz Road west of Lansdale, turn west onto Fretz Road. Go 0.9 miles crossing Wambold Road. The Salford Meeting House and Cemetery will be on your right enclosed by a chain link fence. GR plate 120 includes photos (before 1923) of a grouping of tombstones of five Schwenkfelder Ministers (including immigrants E 28, E 50, E 82, & E 104), buried in the Salford Schwenkfelder Cemetery [original photos at Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center].

Please note that the Minutes of the General Conference of the Schwenkfelder Church for October 30, 1869, state, “that memorial stones or grave stones be placed [at the graves of] preachers buried in Lower Salford. George Meschter volunteered to take care of this and costs should be covered by congregation-wide voluntary contributions,” therefore, these are not tombstones placed at time of death.
