THE POSTMETHOD CONDITION
• The Postmethod condition is a set of newerbeliefs and assumptions surrounding foreignlanguage teaching practices.
• The Postmethod condition is characterized byleaving methods-only arguments to findeffective strategies to teach in the mostappropriate and effective way while consideringthe practitioners' views and roles in preparingand teaching language materials.
• Instead of looking for which language teachingmethod is the best to follow, the languageteacher must find the most effective strategiesand techniques to enrich her or his teachingrepertoire.

ABLE AND
COMMITTEDTEACHERS
It is said to be a periodic and a descriptive process
designed to demonstrate students' performance as well as
their progress based on formative assessment:
Formative assessment, refers to a wide variety of methods
that teachers use to conduct in-process evaluations of
students' comprehension, learning needs, and academic
progress during a lesson, unit, or course. Formative
assessments help teachers identify concepts with which
students are struggling to understand skills they are having
difficulty with and also acquiring, or learning standards they
have not yet achieved so that adjustments would be made for
lessons, instructional techniques, and academic support.
The general goal of formative assessment is to collect detailed
information that can be used to improve instruction and
students' learning while it is occurring.
