External Inspection

• API-653 was used as a guide for the VT inspection, Tmin calculated per API-12R1

• This is an overflow tank with a fully insulated shell

• There is a gravel foundation with an intact gravel band, though the band is partially buried by debris

• There is a ground wire on the north end

• The foundation under the tank is missing at the clean out

• The tank is shut in at this time

• Repairs to the roof were done recently and fresh paint is present where patches were installed

• Due to obstruction, access to the roof was not possible, only limited visual inspection from the catwalk

• There is a concrete wall for containment

• The level board cable is broken, though there are level switches installed Calculations

• Corrosion Rate: 0.002” per year

Inspect for cavities under foundation and vegetation against bottom of tank. CONCERN

There is empty foundation space under the clean out

up roof inspection

Patches were recently added to the roof
