PRICE:
Anywhere between Rs. 60 / Wp or Rs. 60 Lacs for 100 kW system to Rs. 140 / Wp or Rs. 1.4 Lacs for a 1 kW system.
TERMS:
• All Inclusive - (Taxation / Statutory Clearances / documentation etc) • 10% Advance • 10% on Completion of Civil Work • 10% on Delivery of Structures • 30% on Dispatch of Modules • 20% on Dispatch of Inverters • 10% of Commissioning of System
Energy Generation
Guaranteed Generation:
No Guarantee = Low Generation
Types of Guarantee: • Absolute Generation Guarantee - same as asking a car
manufacturer to guarantee mileage irrespective of roads.
• Performance Ratio Guarantee - same as a car supplier confirming 15 km / liter mileage on City Roads.
Installation Time
Typical Time Period: 90 days for a 100 kW project
Typical Damages: 0.5% decrease in contract price per week of delay
But, why to enforce damages? • Loss of Tax Benefits for corporates (almost quarter of system cost) • Delay in savings • Increase in Interest Cost etc.

Owner: • Access / Space / Storage • Electricity & Water
Warranties
Overall Project Defect Liability Period - typically 12 months after commissioning
Individual Equipment • Modules - 25 years • Inverters - 5 years • Structures - 5 years (some suppliers) • Junction Boxes - 12 months
