• Available Method: Two-step operation, time consuming (3-4 weeks), and

expensive (US $20,000).

• Our Approach: 30 min or less and lower cost. Achieve tissue treatment and

implantation, in one step, one stop and single operation.

• Current Status: Technology transferred to US Exactech, Inc. Started a multi-

center, Phase II clinical trial in December of 2011.

1. Create an Open Innovation System and target challenging

innovative technologies that will have major impact to the world

2. Establish institute to institute, long-term mutually beneficial

relationships

3. Apply DARPA like methodology, invite experts to brainstorm

“unmet needs” and their implementation

4. Joint efforts to promote and to conduct technology

commercialization, increase global industrial value and create

new business opportunities
