Lazy Galivant over Gullion
An all-day coach tour of South Armagh, concentrating on the area impacted by The Plantation of Ulster (1609) and the subsequent plantations and disturbances in the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The tour will visit the highlights of the northern and western sections of South Armagh.

Slieve Gullion Murder Mystery Experience
Fully guided coach tour, taking in the most impressive sights and monuments the Ring of Gullion has to offer. Historical Coach Tour of the Ring of Gullion
Visit the infamous Famine Walls of Slieve Gullion mountain and hear gruesome tales of the hardships suffered by those who built them. Most of this hike will take place on steep, rough, open mountain; hiking boots are essential, a walking pole and a reasonable level of fitness are recommended.

Dinosaurs are coming alive at Slieve Gullion! A T-Rex has been spotted prowling around the Walled Garden. Are you brave enough to track him down? Come to Gullion to learn about dinomite dinosaurs, vicious volcanoes, earth-shattering earthquakes and other wonders of our planet. You can even get your picture taken with Roary the T-Rex – if you’re brave enough.

Geotastic Extravaganza
Enjoy a historical walk back through time. Visit ancient and current monuments of the Christian era. You will be led on this journey by Venora, a Ring of Gullion Ambassador, and Seamus a local historian. During your walk you will learn about the historical importance of this area in the 1600’s and its impact on present day history. You’ll visit Faughart graveyard, Moyry Castle and the Kilnasaggart stone and develop a fascinating and humorous insight into both the spiritual and historical history of this area.

Gap o’ the North Walk
Join local historian, Kevin Murphy, for a leisurely walk, meandering around the townlands surrounding the village of Mullaghbane. Along the way you’ll peer into holes in every hedge to unearth the story of the last six thousand years. It was the poet Art Mac Binead, buried in the local graveyard, who said that in this area you could “kick any stone and history leaps up at you”. Come along and you’ll “kick stones” for about three hours.

The Hidden History of Mythical Mullaghbane
Join experienced local guide, Venora, and meditation coach, Ann, on a sensory, historical and storytelling journey through the gentle slopes of Feede Mountain, Jonesborough. Hear the history of the local area and develop your appreciation and awareness of nature, walking through a quiet wooded area. Listen to stories of the mighty warriors, Cú Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhail who roamed the mountains of Cooley and Gullion. Céilí Dancing at Lúnasa
