Beginning this Sunday, October 27th, until Thursday, November 21st, St. Mark’s Social Concerns Committee, once again, will be collecting food to be donated to Mercy Center in Asbury Park. Packages will be prepared for needy individuals and families in order to enjoy this special holiday!
Frozen turkeys, 10 to 12 lbs. max, frozen turkey breasts, frozen Cornish hens and frozen pies may be placed in the large freezer in the Church basement kitchen, as well as butter and refrigerated tube biscuits.

Soup’s On On Sunday, November 10th, after all the Masses, the Altar Rosary Society will be having a soup sale. The cost is $8 a quart. Treat your family to nourishing soup and feel good about helping St. Mark’s!
Reminder: Turn clocks back one hour (fall back) next Sunday, November 3rd! If you forget and arrive an hour early for Mass, we will gladly sign you up as an usher that Sunday! Also, for safety, replace all smoke detector batteries, too!
Altar Rosary Society Meeting On Monday, November 4th,
St. Mark’s Altar Rosary Society will meet after the 11 AM All Souls Mass and Rosary. Our guest speaker at the luncheon after Mass is Father Albert Holtz OSB, a Benedictine monk of Newark Abbey. Father Holtz teaches New Testament at St. Benedict’s, the monastery’s prep school. He has served as master of novices and retreat master for Benedictine communities around the U.S. and is presently the Oblate Director. He has written over 6 books, one of which is called “Downtown Monks.” He will speak to us about “Who is your God?”
