5TH SUNDAY OF EASTER
18TH ANNUAL ST. THERESA FEAST
Plans are underway for our 18th Annual Summer Festival. This year it will be held from July 23rd to the 27th. So tell your family and friends to save the dates and make plans to attend this fun filled celebration of our community. Some of your fellow parishioners are working hard to make sure everything is organized just right. They have already started to make some additions and changes that will make this years edition the best one ever. If you would like to get involved with the planning please feel free to stop by any of the feast meetings that will posted in future editions of the parish bulletin. THIS YEARS THEME As you know, each year since the inception of the feast we have had a catchphrase that is the underlying theme of that years feast. That theme is incorporated in many of the different facets of the feast & religious observances. This year we have chosen as our theme Come Home To Jesus. What better time than now to stop by church and say a prayer, light a candle, or attend a Mass. What better time than now to do a good deed for someone in need. What better time than now to feel better about yourself. What better time than now to Come Home To Jesus. RELIGIOUS SERVICESFinal details of our procession route & religious observance schedule are still being worked on. Each night we will have opening prayers and a Mass celebrated for a special intention. We will also have a concert in the Church immediately following the Sunday procession. More information will be forthcoming. CONFIRMATION GRANTS The Feast committee would like to congratulate Rebecca Lubelli and Francesca Mucciowinners of this years Feast Grants given annually to two of our young parishioners whose services to our community emulate those of our feast volunteers. VOLUNTEERS Our Feast would not be possible without the efforts of hundreds of parishioners that volunteer and help each year. As our feast continues to grow and as we try to initiate new features for our parishioners we are in need of more and more volunteers. If you volunteered in the past we thank you for your endeavors and hope that you will be able to help us this year. If you have not helped in the past please give us a try. Whatever amount of time you can give will be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in helping please fill out a volunteer sign-up sheet and drop in the collection box during any Sunday Mass or bring to the rectory. Sign-up sheets can be found in the back of the church.
RAFFLE As part of our feast we will once again hold our Grand Raffle. The grand prize will be a 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA 250 (the newest and already one of the bestselling Mercedes models) or $30,000. The 2nd prize will be $1,000 and the 3rd prize will be $500. There will only be 1000 tickets sold at a cost of $100 each. Once again we ask for your help. This raffle is very important to the financial state of our parish. If you cannot buy them yourself please make every effort to network them among friends, relatives or co-workers. Take the raffle tickets to your place of employment or a family gathering and ask a number of people to share in the $100.00 cost of a ticket and ultimately share the $30,000 grand prize. For those of you that are not on our mailing list you can pick up a ticket or two in front of the church today. If your ticket stubs are in before the end of June you qualify for the early-bird drawing. The winner of the early-bird will receive $300.00 and 3 additional free tickets for the Grand Raffle. Raffle tickets are available on the parish web-site http://sttheresaschoolbronx.org, just click on The Feast link. Please do your best to network at least one raffle ticket. We all know that if we try we can get it done. ADVANCE RIDE TICKETS: We offer advance ride tickets at a discount. You are able to save 50% over the cost of buying the tickets at the feast and use your credit card. Advance ride tickets are available in the bookstore after the weekend masses, in the rectory weekdays from 9:00AM to 4:30PM, and on the parish web-site http://sttheresaschoolbronx.org until July 22nd. Just click on The Feast link.
KNITTERS & CROCHETERS Once again we are reaching out to those that can knit or crochet. We are asking for baby blankets, sweaters, hats or booties for babies. These items will be displayed during our feast and then donated to the Premature Baby Unit at Jacobi Medical Center. These items can be dropped off at the rectory during the week or the raffle table in front of the church before or after the weekend masses. COPORATE SPONSORS-There is a program associated with our feast where businesses can get involved and help as well. Its called our Corporate Sponsor Program. A tax deductible donation will get a business or store advertising and recognition during our feast. For additional information call the rectory weekdays at 718-892-1900. Some of this years Corporate Sponsors are: COLONIAL HOME IMPROVEMENTS MERCEDES BENZ OF NEW ROCHELLE ARCADIA FLORAL CO.

MANY THANKS
We are most grateful to all our wonderful parishioners who have
sacrificed so generously by increasing their weekly Sunday
contributions. Please know that your weekly increase is for the
betterment of St. Theresa Parish, for the building up and
improvement of our parish. We are most grateful to all of you
who have helped to make a difference in our community. Please
continue to help us in order to keep St. Theresa Parish the vital,
growing parish that it is. Our parish has the lowest Sunday
collection in the immediate area. We need to keep up with our
neighbors. Your help is vital. Thanks for all you do!
ST. THERESAS FEAST COMMITTEE
There will be a meeting of the Feast Committee on Tuesday July
8th at 7:30PM in the large rectory meeting room. As always our
meetings are open to all parishioners and local residents. Feel
free to join us if youd like to see how this committee works,
bring up any ideas or get involved. We are always looking for
suggestions and good help.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Chapter 13
It should be called the Federal Fresh Start Law: it provides a Government sanctioned forgiveness of debt with no tax ramifications. It takes about 2 years to re-establish your credit after bankruptcy. Its not part of the problem, its part of the solution to raising your credit score. Theres no longer any social stigma when it comes to getting bankruptcy relief. Our
economy is not your fault. Dont let the Banking Industry scare you away from getting the debt relief you are entitled to under Federal Law. Call for a Free telephone consultation. Admitted to practice in 1982.
