I possess a strong ability to quickly comprehend new systems and solve problems. My abilities stem from a vast understanding of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VSDs, radio telemetry and industrial instrumentation. I have worked within the SAGE Service group for ten years. I have a strong customer focus and have been a key player in assisting SAGE building the SAGE Service team in Adelaide. In 2008 I moved into a Technical Lead role of technical support for the team of 14 technicians. I have recent Oil & Gas experience working at Santos facilities. Loop checks, fault finding, commissioning and setup of all Electrical and instrumentation equipment (DPs, multivariable flowmeters, temperature, pressure & Fisher flow control valves) through to cause and effect and functional testing with an Allen-Bradley PLC & HMI and Emerson Delta V
DCS. Full wet commissioning, functional operation testing and PID loop tuning. Also fault finding & maintenance of Waukesha 12V275+ gas engine. More than 20 years of experience in the field of Industrial Instrumentation. This includes installing, testing, diagnosing, commissioning, fault finding, repairing, modifying and calibrating all types of instruments. Currently responsible for service work for Endress & Hauser instruments in Adelaide. Responsible for coordinating and carrying out regular instrument calibrations for Coopers Brewery, Michells Wool Processing and United Dairy Power’s Murray Bridge and Jervois Plants. This includes pressure, temperature, flow, level, density and analysis equipment. Communicating well at all levels to help form strong working relationships with customers and colleagues I enjoy motivating, organising others, working well under pressure and taking pride in seeing a task through to completion.
I have a high regard for my own personal safety and also that of my team members and am actively involved in site OH&S procedures. Physically fit, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision as required.
