We are connuing our screening for the high ability program and depending on the informaon needed your fiſth grade child may be administered a standardized test during the month of February. All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will take the state's newest assessment this year, ILEARN. This takes the place of ISTEP and will be done completely online. Fifth Grade High Ability Screening Dear Parents/Guardians of fifth grade students: We need additional information on the academic needs and performance of individual students in order to provide instruction at the appropriate level for each child. We are continuing our screening for the high ability program and depending on the information needed your fifth grade child may be administered a standardized test during the month of February. Parents of students who qualify for the program will receive a letter by the end of May. If you have any questions regarding testing, please contact Kim Jovic at [email protected].

All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will take the state's newest assessment this

year, ILEARN. This takes the place of ISTEP and will be done completely

online. Jeremiah Gray students will test on the following dates:

5th grade- April 22-April 29

4th grade-April 29-May 7

3rd grade-May 6- May 10

Attendance will be very important for your child during those testing

windows. Our teachers have been working to prepare our students for the new

2019 Choice Application Information

(For 1-5 Elementary Schools)

The choice application period for the 2019-2020 school year will be open on January 14, 2019 through February 22,

2019. Applications and instructions will be available through our website under the “For Parents” tab as well as

each elementary school. There will be limited choice of 20 spots per Kindergarten Academy for incoming Kinder-

garten students. There will be no transportation provided for the Kindergarten Choice Program. Please read the

instructions and complete the application as directed.

2019-20 Kindergarten Registration Information

Kindergarten registration will begin on January 7, 2019 for those students who will be entering Kindergarten in

the Fall of 2019. The student must turn 5 years old on or before August 1, 2019 in order to register. The Kinder-

garten Academy your student will attend is determined by your residence only and not where other siblings may

be attending. The following is a list of home schools and the corresponding Kindergarten Academy your student
