The drilling process, drilling force, drilling temperature and holes quality of PCB drilling were studied. The characteristics and mechanism of drill wear and broken were analyzed. The dynamic performance of the drilling machine was also analyzed and the designation rule of PCB high speed numerical control drilling machine was proposed. An PCB high speed numerical control drilling machine with 250 krpm highest spindle speed was designed and manufactured. This paper introduced the research progress on PCB micro-
