All exterior metal surfaces of the Model 887 are locked in a vault of polymer armor that is impervious moisture and highly resistant to abuse. That means with ArmorLokt construction you will not have anyrust on external surfaces - ever!

ArmorLokt is a proprietary polymer coating of armor available only from Remington

ArmorLokt forms an impenetrable shell of Armor - tough protection against harshestelements.

Receiver and barrel are encased in ArmorLokt for all weather protection

- Barrel: The barrel is cold hammer forged from 4140 steel - then coated with ArmorLoktvia an injection molding process
