CUSTOMER TRACING & RE-VERIFICATION PROGRAMOur customer verification program reconnects with lost and “Gone away” clients. Our clients have included large retail banking groups and global insurers. Our InTrace system has consistently provided tracing results of at least 90%. This provides a number of benefits to clients including:

• Regulatory compliance: MiFID II and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) place obligations on firms to ensure accurate client data. Non-compliance with regulations exposes firms to the risk of substantial fines. In the case of GDPR, fines of up to 4% of worldwide turnover may be levied against any firm not complying with the regulations.

• Delivering fair outcomes to customers: Reconnecting with clients can facilitate the delivery of fair outcomes to customers including providing pension benefits or a refund.

• Commercial/efficiency initiatives: Reconnecting with “Gone away” clients can produce the opportunity to either close accounts and thereby reduce costs or a commercial opportunity to develop the customer relationship.

Our customer tracing service can be used to deal with a range of issues including: legacy issues, remediation, outstanding audit actions, implementation of regulatory requirements and commercial initiatives.

AML / FINANCIAL CRIMEWe have significant experience of conducting AML reviews across the financial services industry including retail, investment and private banks. Our reviews have included assessing systems and controls, transaction monitoring, file rectification projects including; large scale client enhanced due diligence, source of wealth/source of funds rectification.

PAST BUSINESS REVIEWS, COMPLIANCE & QUALITY ASSURANCEWe have worked with the Boards of Financial Services firms to manage a range of remediation projects including packaged accounts, pension transfers and Payment Protection Insurance. Our approach is to work closely with the senior management in firms to ensure that projects are delivered on time, that the correct regulatory standards have been applied and that fair outcomes have been delivered to customers.

OUTSOURCING OF SERVICESWe can put together tailored solutions for clients so that part of their regulatory controls can be outsourced. Our outsourcing solutions covers all three lines of defence including:

• First line of defence resource: KYC / on-boarding specialists, complaint handlers, quality assurance teams;

• Second line of defence: Compliance function resource including an outsourced compliance team, AML teams, monitoring resource;

• Third line of defence: Outsourced Audit Teams and Subject Matter Experts.
