From the Chairman’s desk

The month of October has been action packed at the National Headquarters with preparations and participation at the Delhi show of Franchise & Retail Opportunities (FRO). The show saw the RE/MAX India team capturing leads by touching base with as many franchise prospects as possible. At RE/MAX, we believe in the fact that we are an out an out sales company and that is the reason why such events see everybody in the team pitching RE/MAX to the prospects. It was a result of all our enthusiasm and proactive-ness to extract the maximum from our participation. I am very proud of the dedication shown by my team and I am sure that you all will be soon seeing new people joining the RE/MAX network at various levels as a result of our participation. Another development in our network was the successful launch of the region of RE/MAX Southern Karnataka, wherein my team travelled to their region and helped in making the event successful. The month also saw the team of RE/MAX India, RE/MAX International and our Regional Owners meet again to conclude various decisions for their enhanced profitability. With the end of 2015 just a couple of months away, I am hoping that each one of you have spent some time not only reviewing your performance in achieving the targets that you set out at the beginning of the year but have realigned your strategy to ensure that you

eventually achieve your annual targets. It delights me to see our Affiliates in different regions get successful and appreciated from the customers for the kind of Real Estate services they provide them and I know for sure that we are well on our way to bring a positive change in this dynamic industry. This month’s newsletter has a special interaction with Ms. Meena Yadav, who has been a great testimony for other women entrepreneurs in our network. Reading her column made me have a stronger belief on the statement, “Everything your mind can Conceive, You can Achieve”. I would like to use this platform to congratulate Meena and wish her all the very best!

In the end, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all the new members who joined the RE/MAX family in this month. With festivity around the corner, on behalf of everyone I would like to wish you and your loved one’s a very HAPPY DIWALI. May the glow of joy, prosperity and happiness illuminate your days in the year ahead!

I would like to have a special mention of the team of RE/MAX Delhi NCR and RE/MAX Punjab A for participating in the Franchise & Retail Opportunities (FRO) in Delhi and I am hopeful that we will be able to add more Affiliates to our network through the show. I hope that all of you do not miss on the various electronic, print and online coverage’s that we receive. We have been covered by a lot of reputed business channels and Sam has also been a columnist with papers like The Tribune, Financial Chronicle, ETRealty.com etc. It is a matter of great pride for all of us that we have been able to consult everyone through all these mediums and thus help them in making a wiser decision when it comes to Real Estate investments. The team of RE/MAX Punjab A, B & CMP along with their Broker Owners and Broker Associates have been amongst the star performers in achieving the sales figures in the WTC projects in Chandigarh. The team won a Harley Davidson and a Royal Enfield as a result of the hard work put in at all the levels. We would like to wish them all the very best for their achievement!

To increase the affiliate count in the newly launched region of RE/MAX Uttar Pradesh - Central, the region along with the support of RE/MAX India organized Discovery Day for one of their office. The event was very well attended by people from different backgrounds and turned out to be a great success with some new affiliates adding to our network as a result of the event.

In addition to conducting regular meetings, the region is very active in the online promotion of the Business Opportunities with RE/MAX through various mediums.

With a lot of other activities like newspaper advertisement, e-mail and what’s app blasts, hoardings etc, our Broker Office, RE/MAX Properties also conducted Discovery Day in the month of November to share the Business Opportunities with RE/MAX in the region. THE ADVENT OF SMART CITIES The government has recently announced the list of cities it wants to develop into smart cities. Of course, it will take a few years to initiate the process and complete these undertakings. However, the real estate market operates on anticipatory sentiment, so the property markets in those cities will start showing more buoyancy almost immediately. This means that real estate investments there will yield better returns in the long run, no matter how the share market performs.
