Registration Process p Before accessing JAE-IS, must complete the Course Application Worksheet, provided in Form

A or in JAE information booklet p Make full use of the 12 choices p Will require NRIC or FIN, JAE-Pin (from Form A) p Sing Pass is NOT required p Takes approximately 15 minutes

Posting Results via SMS

p Provide a local mobile phone number during registration if you wish to receive the posting results via SMS

Proper Submission

p  Would see a copy of the Verification Slip (VS) online after clicking on <submit> button

p  Print Verification Slip and retain a copy of it as proof of course application

Retention Criteria p obtained not more than 2 GCE 'O' Level passes (excluding CCA) and an aggregate of 45 points or fewer in 6 subjects. CCA may be considered as one of the 6 subjects

OR p obtained 3 or more GCE 'O' Level passes (excluding CCA) but do not qualify for admission to JCs, MI or Polytechnics

Aaron Oon Wei Yan •  Aaron  is  an  eloquent  speaker  who  could  present  confidently.  

He  had  an  analy8cal  mind  and  was  able  to  absorb  ideas  quickly.    

•  He  was  also  a  friendly  and  lively  student  in  class  who  brightened  up  the  atmosphere.  A  talented  dancer,  Aaron  par8cipated  in  events  such  as  Dance  Night  2012,  Dance  Mania  2013,  and  Youth  Dance  Night  2014.    

•  Aaron  has  a  strong  sense  of  purpose  and  determina8on  and  shows  strong  willpower  to  succeed

Lim Dong Qin •  Dongqin  is  aware  of  her  own  strengths  and  competencies.  

She  has  a  clear  sense  of  purpose  in  achieving  her  goals  and  she  displays  a  personal  pride  in  the  way  she  approaches  her  work.    

•  Dongqin  was  also  awarded  the  Good  Progress  Award  in  2012  and  the  MOE  Edusave  Scholarship  Award  in  2008.    

•  Dongqin  is  a  warm  and  sincere  individual  whose  good-­‐natured  character  has  won  her  many  friends.  She  is  able  to  interact  well  with  her  peers  and  she  is  able  to  influence  her  peers  in  a  posi8ve  manner.  

•  Dongqin  was  a  dedicated  member  of  the  Chinese  Orchestra,  represen8ng  the  school  in  the  Singapore  Youth  Fes8val  Arts  Presenta8on  in  2011  and  2013.  

Liew Shermin •  Shermin  is  an  independent  and  self-­‐mo8vated  student  who  

sets  clear  academic  goals  and  worked  hard  to  achieve  them.  •  She  is  respecRul  and  sincere  in  her  dealings  with  others    •  Shermin  was  a  dedicated  member  of  the  Badminton  Club,  

who  showed  a  high  level  of  enthusiasm  for  her  CCA  and  par8cipated  in  a  number  of  compe88ons.    

•  With  her  leadership  quali8es,  Shermin  was  appointed  as  Captain  in  2013.  She  was  also  appointed  as  Assistant  Patrol  Leader  in  Scouts.  

Noor Ashik Ali B Nawab •  A  learner  with  ini8a8ve,  Ashik  consistently  excelled  in  

Mathema8cs.  He  enjoyed  being  challenged  in  the  subject  and  constantly  coached  his  friends  and  encouraged  them  to  excel.    

•  As  the  class  chairperson  in  2014,  Ashik  played  a  major  role  in  uni8ng  the  class  and  deepening  bonds  amongst  his  classmates.  To  acknowledge  his  efforts,  Ashik  was  awarded  the  Model  Student  Award  in  2014.    

•  As  a  result  of  Ashik’s  commitment  and  sportsmanship  in  his  CCA,  he  was  chosen  to  be  the  Captain  of  the  soccer  team.    

•  Ashik  was  also  chosen  to  be  the  Falcon  House  Leader.    

Koh Fang Ling •  Fang  Ling  is  an  independent  learner.  Bright  and  resourceful,  

she  is  capable  of  producing  work  of  a  high  standard  when  she  puts  in  effort  in  the  tasks  assigned.    

•  She  is  a  concerned  friend  who  could  o[en  be  seen  tutoring  her  friends  or  helping  them  a[er  school.    

•  With  proper  8me  management,  Fang  Ling  was  able  to  balance  between  work  and  play.  

•  She  was  very  ac8ve  in  the  Girl  Guides  and  was  the  Patrol  Leader  from  2013  to  2014.  She  was  able  to  guide  her  juniors  during  trainings  and  model  good  behaviour  for  her  peers.    

Ong Xin Yi Eunice •  Eunice  is  an  independent  learner  with  a  strong  drive  to  

achieve  her  goals  .  •  She  is  a  humble  and  helpful  person  who  is  willing  to  share  her  

knowledge  with  her  classmates  and  friends.    •  As  a  member  of  the  school's  Volleyball  team,  Eunice  

par8cipated  in  and  won  numerous  intra-­‐  and  inter-­‐school  tournaments.    

•  Eunice  also  served  the  school  as  a  Student  Councillor.  She  was  exemplary  in  her  conduct  and  was  very  respecRul  to  her  teachers.  Eunice  demonstrates  a  strong  sense  of  purpose  and  determina8on.    

Joyce Goh Jing Yi •  Joyce  is  a  conscien8ous  student  who  was  diligent  in  

comple8ng  her  assignments.  She  was  also  focused  during  lessons  and  was  an  a_en8ve  student.    

•  Joyce  is  an  exemplary  role  model  to  her  classmates  as  she  stayed  resilient  in  the  face  of  challenges.  She  was  able  to  establish  good  rapport  with  her  classmates.  She  was  a  posi8ve  influence  on  her  peers  and  her  classmates  o[en  sought  her  help  for  their  studies.    

•  Joyce  was  a  passionate  member  of  the  school  dance  club  and  performed  at  Singapore  Youth  Fes8val  (SYF)  compe88ons  2011  and  2013.

Justica Tan Wan Ling •  Jus8ca  is  a  highly  mo8vated  student  who  is  able  to  cope  with  challenges  

and  achieved  excellent  results.  She  was  also  awarded  the  MOE  Edusave  Scholarship  Award  in  2011,  2012  and  2013.        

•  Jus8ca  is  a  posi8ve  influence  to  her  peers.  She  is  sensi8ve  to  the  needs  of  others,  and  she  is  always  ready  to  offer  assistance  to  anyone  in  need  of  help.    

•  Being  a  reliable  student  and  regarded  as  a  good  role  model  by  her  peers,  she  was  appointed  Vice  Chairperson  for  her  class  in  2012  and  2013.  

•  Jus8ca  was  a  dedicated  member  of  the  Symphonic  Band.  She  represented    the  school  in  the  Singapore  Youth  Fes8val  Arts  Presenta8on  in  2013  and  was  awarded  the  EAGLES  Award  in  2012  and  2013.

Tan Li Xuan •  Li  Xuan  was  an  ac8ve  and  eager  learner  in  class  who  was  

me8culous  in  her  work.  She  displayed  an  eagerness  to  improve  her  weaker  subjects  and  was  not  easily  discouraged  by  setbacks.    

•  With  her  gentle  disposi8on,  Li  Xuan    formed  strong  bonds  with  her  peers  and  will  lend  a  helping  hand  voluntarily  when  the  need  arose.      

•  For  CCA,  Li  Xuan  served  as  the  Sec8onal  Leader  of  Chinese  Orchestra  and  was  tasked  with  guiding  her  sec8on  mates  as  well  as  maintaining  the  camaraderie  of  the  sec8on.    

Iiyas Hakim B Mohamed •  Iiyas  was  eager  to  learn  from  his  teachers.  Helped  his  teachers  and  fellow  peers  readily.    

•  He  is  well  mannered  and  treated  all  with  respect.  •  As  an  ac8ve  member  of  NCC,  Iiyas  par8cipated  ac8vely  in  inter-­‐school  and  intra-­‐school  events  and  volunteered  at  several  community  projects.  

Tan Chee Hean Ian •  Ian  was  a  me8culous  student  who  showed  a  keen  interest  in  

his  studies.  He  was  resilient  in  his  studies  and  unwavering  in  his  pursuit  to  achieve  overall  academic  success.    

•  He  was  unafraid  to  clear  his  doubts  with  his  teachers,  which  allowed  him  to  be_er  understand  the  concepts  taught  in  class.      

•  Beyond  his  academic  pursuits,  he  displayed  a  strong  sense  of  loyalty  to  his  friends  and  was  o[en  seen  a[er  school  tutoring  them.    

•  An  all  rounder  student,  Ian  was  appointed  Assistant  Platoon  Commander  of  the  Senior  Cadets  of  NCC.  

Ng Kang Hao •  Kang  Hao  is  a  highly  mo8vated  and  ambi8ous  student.  He  

has  excellent  communica8on  skills  and  makes  intelligent  contribu8ons  to  discussions.  

•  He  was  able  to  balance  his  8me  well  between  academics,  sports  &  CCA  and  he  also  par8cipated  ac8vely  in  community  involvement  programmes.  

•  Kang  Hao  was  a  valued  member  of  the  school’s  Na8onal  Cadet  Corps(NCC).
