It is a genuine pleasure and honor for me to recommend, Thokchom Heeraj Anand, as he applies

for a teaching position. I’ve known him for five years now, as he has been working under my

supervision as a guest lecturer in our institute teaching various subjects in both under-graduate

and post-graduate courses.

As a faculty, I found that students reacted extremely well to his methods. He would engage

students and elicit reactions to material that students would normally not react to. His

educational process resulted in a very high rate of students who passed our class with distinctions

and I attribute much of that to him. Based on these interactions, over the last five years I have

come to see him as a bright, personable, energetic, and mature person with a concrete, ongoing,

well-rooted interest in teaching. He feels a strong sense of responsibility to the students in his

classes and he takes their success very personally. His credentials shows unfailing commitment

to achieving his goals while developing himself as a person.

In short, it is clear to me that Thokchom Heeraj Anand, is and will continue to be devoted to

becoming the best kind of educator. His college background and work ethic remind me very

much of my own, and I respect what he has done and will do as a teacher. Thus, I recommend

him highly.
