Students in Mrs. E. Eubanks’ second grade class and Mrs. Willis’ fifth grade class wrote collaboratively on their iPods, basing their writing on the book “Recess at 20 Below” by Cindy Lou Aillaud. They also were fortunate to Skype with the author from Alaska!TRANSCRIPT
Recess at 90 Above

2nd and 5th grade collaborative writing project
In the morning we unpack then do a math lesson. After that, we go to the bathroom. We have specials at Banks. We either have Media, Art, P.E., Music, or Technology. Sometimes we have Successmaker. Then we eat lunch when we're finishwe go outside for recess. At recess we play kickball, Soccer, Tag, Football, Swing, or etc. We wear shorts, jeans, sandals, tennis shoes, and flip flops.When it's time to go in our teacher says "Get in a straight line or says "time to go inside everyone!" After recess, we go inside and do Social Studies orScience. Angel and her friends have enrichment every Thursday. When it rains we play iPods:)! What do you do at recess when it rains?
