j&j Tankers in high demand

According to a recent report cited by the Marcellus Shale Coalition,

the Marcellus Shale formation could be the leading supply of natural gas in the United States within a decade. Taken in context with projections released earlier this year by the

Dept. of Energy, the the Pennsylvania Marcellus could produce approximately a quarter of America’s natural gas by 2020. This development could support more than 156,000 jobs and generate $12.8 billion in economic activity in Pa. In addition to tanker trucks, J&J also

manufactures hydraulic fracturing systems, tank trailers, winch trucks, frac sanders, and specialty trucks to support natural gas exploration and production.

MDC Medium-Duty Chassis

On the Road with

Bayshore Ford provided six Freightliner trucks that were outfitted with J&J medium-duty aluminum dump bodies. The trucks will be used by Delaware DOT for road mainte-nance, hauling applications, and light construction work.

J&J Dump Bodies Working in Mexico

Six J&J Off-the-Road (OTR) dump bodies were manufactured for a mining company in Baja California Sur, México. The bodies were built at the J&J plant in Somerset, Pa and shipped by truck to Oregon where they were mounted

onto Kenworth trucks. The trucks are currently in use at a Mexican copper mine.

ULThese popular steel ultra light dump bodies feature automatic high lift tailgates which prevents tailgate damage from large objects and functions as a conventional tailgate for standard aggregate. The Peterbilt chassis were provided by Pocono Peterbilt.

Carter Machinery recently sent this CT660 to J&J where it was mounted with our most popular Material Hauler. It was shown at CAT Open Houses this past fall. Caterpil-lar continues to ramp up production of the CT660 to meet demand.

J&J Truck Equipment recently completed a

Knapheide service body for a local plumbing

company. The unit was mounted on a 2012

Peterbilt chassis and outfitted with a canopy

roof and storage compartments with a master

locking system. With more than enough

external storage and a secure internal cargo

storage area, the truck will greatly increase

productivity day in and day out.

A gas and oilfield services company ordered two of these flat beds for their Ford F550 trucks. The bed was installed with a Venturo 12 Volt eletric crane with power rotation, power boom elevation, power winch and power boom extension to to 6’3” and manual extension to 9’3.” All functions of the crane are controlled by a hand held pendant, making it easy to use.
