Billericay District Residents’ Association Message

Do you want to help your community?

Although we have recently been concentrating on the Local Plan, and will continue to do so, we are concerned about much more that affects the lives of the town’s people. As an example it is the persistence and perseverance of the BDRA which had led Basildon Council to consider enforcement action in relation to the illegal dumping of vast amounts of rub-

ble to build a car park in Barrenleys Wood.

The BDRA is run by residents for residents but we need more help. If you believe that local residents deserve a voice in what happens to our community and you have a little time to spare why not come along and help us ? At most we meet

on only one evening each month. No specific skills are needed, just enthusiasm and a passion for our town.

Send your details to [email protected] and we’ll be in touch.

New Football Goals Thank you very much to our Friends’ Association

who kindly donated the funds to replace our lunchtime football goals which were literally falling

apart! The goals are used by all our children at various times, during the lunchbreak, in lesson time

and for clubs, so they will be well-used!

Ivy Rose Lily On Wednesday, Miss Donnelly popped in to

see us all with her beautiful baby

daughter. As you can see, both mother and baby are doing well

and motherhood certainly seems to suit

Miss Donnelly!
