The applicability of each method is demonstrated using examples of likely system scenarios. The challenges of modeling the multiservice environment are described and the implications to the system performance simulations are introduced. Résumé Cet article décrit la methodologie du dimensionnement et de la planification du réseau radio ďun systeme wcdma de troisième génération. On démontre que chacune des méthodes est applicable en utilisant des exemples vraisemblables de scénarios système. Les défis pour modeliser ľenvironnement multiservices sont décrits et les conséquences sur les simulations des performances système sont introduites. Page %P Page 1
