King Street Creamery RebrandBranding for a local creamery in Boone, NC. We developed the identity from a geometric kit of parts inspired by the shapes of an ice cream cone. Visual HabitualVisual Habitual is an interactive installation that asks the audience to consider behavioral patterns that they possess but may not recognize. Viewers are presented with a large board covered with habit cards. As they approach the board they are prompted to pick a habit, take a card, flip it over and reflect. Is it a good habit? A bad habit? A harmless quirk? In promoting self-awareness, the installation allows us to discover similarities we share with those around us. || Spring 2016

Let Us Talk HairBody hair is rarely shown in the visual culture that we find ourselves so immersed in. Specifically in regards to women, hair is something that holds meaning and narrative. It is said... "Ask a woman about her hair and she just might tell you the story of her life." [Elizabeth Benedict.] Let Us Talk Hair began as a social space where women contributed data and personal stories about their own relationships with hair. Since, it has evolved into this poster series that showcases the insecurities, frustrations, and stigmas that surround this conversation of hair. || Spring 2016
