    Experience in generation

    Capital Power (TSX: CPX) is a growth-oriented North American powerproducer, building on more than a century of innovation and reliableperformance.

    We own more than 3,300 megawatts of power generation capacity at16 facilities across North America. An additional 487 megawatts ofowned wind generation capacity is under construction or in advanceddevelopment in BC, AB and ON.

    In November 2011, Atlantic Power acquired CPILP and its 18 facilities,

    including the 66 MW biomass facility in Williams Lake, BC.

    Turbine transportation

    Wind turbine components, currentlybeing manufactured in Colorado, arenow being unloaded in Rycroft, AB.

    Each turbine is made up of ninelarge components: four tower

    sections, one nacelle, one hub andthree blades.

    The components will be stored untilneeded for the turbine assemblyscheduled throughout this summer.

    Vestas is responsible fortransportation of the wind turbines tothe QWP site.
