When The Lion Queens arrived a couple of years back, the world instantly fell in love with the television series and the incredible women foresters featuring in it. Sold in 170 countries, it was seen in every part of the world. High offices like that of prime ministers’ and organisations like UNEP complimented it. Hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles appeared in as many languages and numerous follow up television features applauded the series. It became a subject of a few research theses too! The series and the girls now return to mesmerise the world once again with many more incredible and heart-warming stories. It will be a much bigger television event than its predecessor! 10x30’ in 4K If we leave out a few landscapes that can be counted on fingertips, snakes are everywhere. And, as Man continues to swallow wilderness, they have nowhere to go. Hurt and homeless, they are turning up in cities and homes. It’s happening everywhere. India, a land of 300 species of snakes, including some of the deadliest in the world, is the best, or the worst example of this phenomenon. Enter the Snake Squad. Many young men and women have shunned their prosperous careers to give part of their lives to rescue snakes from urban homes and restore them in the wild. Alex Carpenter, a Briton settled in the beach state of Goa, is one among them. Alex travels to many big Indian cities to meet the Snake Squad and to understand why young people have chosen to do what arguably is the most dangerous job in the world. The series brings to television jaw-dropping rescues, deadly snakes like cobras, and some incredible stories. An Optimum Television production for Discovery.

A beautiful film that follows three families of the African Savannah --- lionesses, elephants and the all female royal baboons --- that will leave you feeling that the natural kingdom is in fact ruled by females, not males!

Woven around heart-warming stories, the film displays the lifelong bond of mothers and daughters and how the female leaders shepherd their families and, once old, hand over the reins of the kingdom to their daughters.

The tiger of Sundarbans mangroves is truly an enigma. It doesn’t allow humans to enter his world, and because of his fierce reputation of being a man-eater, man has largely stayed away from him!

Over 14 exciting and tense weeks, the film follows a team of scientists that is making a rare attempt to study these tigers. Would they be able to decode many mysteries and legends surrounding the last of the genuinely wild tigers of the world?

Poaching is still a menace for wildlife across the world and despite many bans, elephants in particular continue to be slaughtered for their tusks. But silent victims of this heinous act are the young calves that are left orphaned by this traumatic event. All alone and without the care of a mother, they are certain to die in the wild.

But, deep in Kafue National Park in the heart of Zambia, there is a group of extraordinary people who ensure that these elephants still have a fighting chance. Running an ‘elephant orphanage’, these incredible people care for, protect and teach these vulnerable calves, ensuring they can live out full and proper lives. This film is an inside look into the lives of these brave people and the innocent victims left in their care: A Herd of Orphans.

The Tigers of Scotland 60’ HD

Scottish Wildcats, affectionately known as ‘Highland Tigers’, are the only ‘big cat’ left to be found in the UK. Tigers of Scotland delves deep into the world of these striped cats.

Keeping tabs on them is important for their preservation but their numbers are scarce as is, making tracking them down a huge challenge in itself. Following and studying them is another hurdle altogether. Will this film be able to find these struggling felines and help protect them? Or are they destined to follow suit of other big cats around the world and disappear out of existence?

Kaziranga National Park is nature’s paradise. It’s about the only place where one can hope to capture India’s magnificent BIG FIVE wild animals in one frame --- the last surviving population of eastern swamp deer, Asiatic elephants, wild buffalos, tiger and rhinoceros.

We spend three seasons in this incredible park to bring home some amazing tales. These are the tales of the big, bulky and often angry rhinos, who, if not busy eating, are relentlessly pursuing females, and of massive elephant herds.

SCARS: Politics in the Big Blue is the spectacular outcome of her 18 years’ of painstaking study. With some amazing camera work --- underwater and out --- the film provides answers to many mysteries about marine life that have baffled scientists and the public alike: how males form gangs while females make nurseries; why dolphins engage in synchronized swimming; are they as peaceful as they appear; why male politics is crucial for reproduction and why they are covered in SCARS!

Simon Berrow is an Irish marine biologist who has been leading expeditions since 2012 to see where the humpback whales disappear after feeding off Ireland in summer autumns. He finds them breeding in spring in Cape Verde. In 2014, he stumbles upon something that he was not expecting: humpback whales turning up in Cape Verde at the ‘wrong time’ in September. He subsequently establishes that these are actually the fish from southern hemisphere, who travel long way to Cape Verde, making it the breeding ground for both northern and eastern humpback whales.

'Tanhavash' (lonely in Persian) is the loneliest cheetah on earth!

He belongs to the family of Asiatic cheetah, a sub-species of its African cousin, that has disappeared from everywhere else except Iran. There are reported to be 100 of them in the Middle Eastern desert of Iran, but they cannot be seen, at least easily. Numerous trail cameras deployed for six years in Iran’s largest national park, Kavir, yielded only one cheetah image.

Filmmaker Fathollah Amiri spends countless days and nights in the sandy landscape hoping to find more. He is particularly hopeful of a cheetah with 4 cubs, whose presence has been reported but not seen. Will he be able to find them?
