Today we are going to tell about the

famous queen Elizabeth II !

Let’s start : Can you tell us about you when you

were a child?Well, my real name is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor and I was born on the 21th April in 1926 in London. I am King George V’s and Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon's daughter. I have got a sister : Margaret.

In 1947, I married Philip Mountbatten in Westminster

Abbey. I have got four children with him : prince Charles,

princess Anne, prince Andrew and prince Edward. I have eight grandchildren. I am the central character of the British royal

family.

Where do you live?

I live in Buckingham palace where I organize many family or sometimes political events as the meeting with the Prime

Minister after his election.

I think you are queen of other countries, aren’t you?

Absoluty, I’m queen of Canada, Australia, New

Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua

New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia,

Saint Vincent and the-Grenadines, Antigua and

Barbuda, Belize, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. These

countries are called Kingdom of the Commonwealth but

obviously, I am represented by governors-generals.

When were you crowned queen?

I was crown queen on the 2nd of June in nineteen fifty three in

Westminster Abbey.

Tell us about the Jubilee of diamond.

 The Diamond Jubilee celebrated my 60th

anniversary on the throne. For a few days, many events were organized as the BBC Concert Orchestra, the ceremony of

grace in Westminster Abbey, the Epsom Derby, a naval parade with 1000 boats.
