Town of Nový Bydžov belongs among those with great history, as well as presence in the area of education. Besides university level, there are all other forms of education:

Primary school, Karla IV. 209, Nový Bydžov
is a school with legal identity, since 1. 1. 1996 established as allowance organization. Its founder is Town Novy Bydzov. Nowadays, there are 555 pupils attending this school.

created a PC program „School and law“. In addition, it organizes various courses (language, I.T.) for citizens of Novy Bydzov and its surroundings.

Waste management
Dealing with trash within the CR follows the law no. 185/2001, about waste
management, and several consequential notices and regulations
Basic division:
- Trash coming from business units
- Trash coming from citizens (communal trash)
Communal trash
At the moment of its placement to given place, it becomes a property of
town. Each town may, by means of generally obligatory regulation, arrange
methods for dealing with this trash.
Payments for communal trash
- Citizens pay this service to a pick-up company
- Citizens pay a local fee (citizens with permanent residence in the area)

(Technical services Novy Bydzov is an allowance organization of the town)
Trash is being stored on a dump – about 15 kms from town
In town, following commodities are being sorted out:
Glass, paper, plastic materials, ferrous metals, large trash, trash from gardens and rubbish
Collection of hazardous trash, including re-collection of electrical appliances is provided 2-3times per year

Public greeneryPublic greenery
Controller of the public greenery is Technical services, allowance organization of town.
Technical services provide a common care (cutting grass, pruning, planting, raking of leaves, cutting trees, etc.).
This care is provided in cooperation with department of environment at the Novy Bydzov municipality.

Local roads
Local roads are ways under the administration of Technical services Novy Bydzov.
Technical services Novy Bydzov provide summer as well as winter maintenance.

data: lot number of the area, type of surface, spread of the road, length of the road, value of the spread, durability of the surface, age, % abrasion, data about public lighting – number of posts, their value, etc.
Volunteer firemen brigade
Town of Nový Bydžov is, according to the law 133/1985 about the fire-prevention, a founder of Volunteer firemen brigades in Novy Bydzov, Vysocany, Skochovice and Skrener.
The brigade in Novy Bydzov has operated in the current form since 1995 and is, according to the size and importance of town, included in the alarm-plan of the Kralovehradecky region in category JPO II (fire-prevention brigade of 2nd level).
Based on this placement, the brigade has a duty to reach the fire-brigade station in Novy Bydzov in 5 minutes from the alarm-call, and leave for the location of emergency.
There are 16 voluntary firemen involved in this system, out of which 13 is divided into teams, having emergency service shifts.
Volunteer firemen brigade
Equipment of the brigade:
Vehicle AVIA spec.PO, motor fire-engine, motor-saw, special action outfits, rescue motor boat, further smaller action equipment. Currently, there was a selection-procedure for a new vehicle CAS 15 MERCEDEZ BENZ ATEGO supplier.
