PTA NEWSLETTER November 2012

Can you believe that Christmas is now fast approaching? It seems like only last week we had our first table quiz of the year, thanks to all who came out and helped us raise nearly £200. This year the PTA is focusing their fundraising efforts on playground equipment for our kids and as always we need your support.

Do you use Facebook? If you do you may wish to join the ‘Friends of Glengormley Integrated Primary School’ page or ‘like’ the ‘Glengormley Integrated Primary School’ page. Information is regularly posted on the page and if you are unsure about anything post a question and someone will answer. You can also access the link to cast a vote for the school to be in with a chance of winning a £25,000 new playground.

The PTA would love to see more parents get involved, our next meeting is on Thursday 15th November at 7pm, please come along!

Mummy’s Night Out

We are hoping to arrange a fabulous fundraising night out in January for all those mummies who deserve a night

out after Christmas!

Family Quiz Night Always enjoyed by all, come along on the 8th March and

test your general knowledge!

CHRISTMAS FAIR Our annual Christmas Fair is always well supported by children, parents and grandparents. This year it’s on Friday 30th November from 6.30 to 8.30pm. For children we have toys, a tuck shop, games, crafts, face painting and glitter tattoos … and of course Santa always makes a grand entrance… if you are good!! For adults we have jewellery, gifts, cards, cakes and prize ballots. Remember to clear out those cupboards before 29th November and drop all donations off at the school. Stalls are available at £15 per stall if you or someone you know wishes to run one. Contact the school for more details. Want to volunteer to help out on the night? Fill in and return the slip sent home in the schoolbags or contact the school and leave your details.
