He will speak about the impact of marijuana legalization in Colorado, marijuana commercializa- tion, and public health and safety issues connected to legal pot use. John Njord - Former UDOT Director, currently with Tom Warne and Associates - Mr. Njord has had his fair share of complex transportation projects and coordina- tion at every level. His presentation will bring advice on running complex projects and motivation as a public servant. Robert Kirby - Humor writer for the Salt Lake Tribune - Will delight us with stories of his public service with the Provo Police Department and observations on daily life. Chief John King - Provo Police Department - Formerly a chief with a local police department in Maryland and involved in the D.C. sniper case. He has been an instructor and loves his new job in Provo. He will focus his presentation on the D.C. sniper case and also about how he has re-energized in his job. Speakers from the National Counterterrorism Center's (NCTC) Joint Counter Terrorism Assessment Team (JCAT) will share their impressive insight and some first hand details from recent terrorist attacks.
