Twyla Garrett is a serial entrepreneur with diverse business lines. She is an

Businesswoman who is President of Investment Management Enterprise (IME)

Inc. She is an extraordinary entrepreneur as well as a corporate speaker,

homeland security expert, and compelling author. She travels the country

speaking about business and entrepreneurship. Twyla Garrett is renowned for

her corporate leadership and bold decision making skills. Entrepreneurship is

the act of the capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a

business venture

along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. Being a successful

entrepreneur , Twyla Garrett having all characteristics of an entrepreneur like,

tenacious, passionate, confident , goal-orientated , Patient, self- awareness,

and risk taking propensity, vision.

The people who know their strong points and have a plan for bolstering their

weak points eventually reach whatever goals they value most. But, achieving

something is not so easy as we can say or write on a piece of paper. It ask us

Twyla hardship inspired her to do more than she thought she could. At young

age of 14, she got separation from her mother and siblings. Twyla was

supported by a single father. Before the court-order to live with her father,

Twyla had to endure psychological, sexual, and verbal abuse. Some people

never manage to get over from difficult childhood memories and some people

shine in spite of their pain. Businesswoman Twyla Garrett falls into the second

category. From young age, Twyla had entrepreneurial qualities. Twyla Garrett

started off joining with the Defence Finance and Accounting Service in

downtown Cleveland but soon she moved to San Diego to hold positions of

deputy controller at NADEP and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Manager for

Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWAR). She left the federal

government and started her own management consulting firm, Investment

Management Enterprise (IME).

IME is known for providing consulting services to assorted governmental

departments, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal

Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). IME is currently working on several

inaugural preparation exercises. The company provides homeland security,

disaster preparedness and IT innovation services.

But this is not enough for Twyla. In year 2003, She opened her first nightclub,

Club Escape, in Richmond, Virginia. There Twyla provided at-risk teens the

opportunity to learn about the restaurant business first-hand. For exemplary

work, Twyla Garrett has achieved many honours and achievements.

At The White House, Twyla has been personally invited to speak on the

issues of creating jobs, economic growth and the controversial fiscal cliff

of 2012.
