The specific objectives and purposes of LATAM shall be:

• To support children by promoting multi-cultural awareness, appreciation and development of students; To establish a sustainable heritage school teaching Spanish Language, Latin American Culture, Arts and Folklore;

• To have a STEM specialized learning center (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics);

• To be a fully recognized operational nonprofit organization who supports and promotes inclusion abroad North Carolina.

School Programs Latin American School seeks to be part of the solution to increase high school graduation rates for minorities in North Carolina. Raleigh’s growing population places more demand on local education agencies to provide quality educational services for the city’s children.

Latin American School plans to be the first kindergarten through 12th School in the Raleigh area providing all these programs. Students who attend Latin American School will meet or exceed state standards on assessments with fluency in Spanish language.

Alumni Scholarship Sponsor ($2,500+) A lack of resources should never deprive a scholar of their dreams or opportunities. Our Alumni Scholarship Sponsors can make a huge difference by supporting our students so they can attend our school.

Naming Program ($5,000+) Our Naming Program allows donors to name one of our classrooms after your Organization. For one full school year, Families will learn all about your Organization. Donors are also invited to speak with the class in person to share your experiences and journey. For a donation of $50,000 or more, you can name a classroom permanently.
