Children, Youth, and Family Ministry is Still Happening at Trinity!

Due to the Covid Crisis, we had to cancel all in-person activities including Frolic, Sunday School, Confirmation, and Youth Group. HOWEVER, we have created an online community to connect our kids and families! During this time of social distancing, every family is encour-aged to join our digital community on Slack, which is an amazing tool that will help us share inspiration, prayers, and educational tools. To get access to these free resources, simply go to trinitystpeter.com/cyf and click on the invitation!

Saturday Storytime Hiatus

Storytime with Pastor Nikoli will be taking a break. We hope to resume story time in August!

Pastor Nikoli has a new blog platform on our website where he can respond quickly to the ever-changing world and its events. Many of you have been wondering what your leaders think about the murder of George Floyd and the protests happening in the Twin Cities and across the nation. Check out trinitystpeter.org/blog to get his take on the situation.

Calling All Thrivent Members

Pastor Nikoli is looking for Trinity folks who also are members of Thrivent. If you and/or a family member purchase services from Thrivent, you can help the young people of our congregation in a big way. Please get in touch with Pastor Nikoli for an exciting opportuni-ty!

Homemade Mask Update

Thank you to those who have made masks for Trinity! We could still use about 50 masks for our supply. If you would be willing to sew some masks we even have some supplies on hand (material and wire) that we can give you! Please call the church office if you can help!

Food Shelf Fundraiser Continues Despite COVID-19!

For the past 9 years, Thrivent and its volun-teers have collected food and monetary dona-tions for our local St Peter Food Shelf during the annual 4th of July parade. Despite the parade being cancelled due to COVID-19, we are continuing our tradition and we need your help more than ever. Weekdays between Monday, June 29 and Monday, July 6 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, we have three no-contact options to safely help and participate in our fundraiser. You can come to our Thrivent St Peter Office located at 300 S. Minnesota Ave. and drop off your donation. For those who are concerned about or unable to leave their house, please call our office at 507-934-5304 to RSVP a curbside pickup time where we will come to you. You can also donate online at www.gofundme.com/st-peter-food-shelf-fundraiser. Thank you in advance for your do-nations!

Grace Street Bible

In case you have not heard, Grace street is available through Zoom! Zoom is an interactive program that allows you – through your com-puter, tablet, ipad or some sort of device – to see and hear other participants and they will see and hear you too! If you do not have a “device” you can simply call from your phone. All are invited to be part of this Bible study. Please join us Thursdays at 10:30 am. If you are interested, please send an email to Pastor Joy at [email protected] to sign up.

Offering Options

It will be important for us to maintain our levels of offerings during this time when we are not worshipping in person. If you usually give weekly while at church please mail your offering to Trinity. Here are some other options: Text: send message to 844-373-8817 with the amount you would like to con-tribute (example: 25). App: download GivePlus through your app store. Web: click on the Give button on our website. Thank you for supporting the mission and ministry of TLC.

Keep them Coming!

We are still collecting Family Fresh re-ceipts. Thank you to those who have been sending them. Most recently we used $4,000 of the Direct Your Dollars funds to help pay for updates to our video system in the sanctuary. We just submitted an application for another $1,000 last week. The use of the Direct you Dollar funds will be determined by Church Council in the future. In the meantime, please send your receipts by mail to the church or drop them off in our “mailbox” by the parking lot en-trance doors. The mailbox is typically out during morning hours. Thank you for supporting the ministry of Trinity.
