PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The BPSU-SGC offers a fully online English language program of study. Our online program is a combination of intensive ESL and TOEIC Speaking Course available to University students. This program allows students to learn ESL and TOEIC Speaking entirely online.

* 매일원어민과 1시간씩 1:1 개인맞춤형수업을진행하며, 일반영어회화뿐만아니라토익스피킹시험준비에도가장적합한영어연수프로그램입니다.

WHAT THE ONLINE PROGRAM OFFERS

• The program is fully online through the program application ZOOM –including placement tests, all coursework, and full access to a qualified English instructor.

• The program offers individualized learning plans based on student’s placement test score.

• The program is available to University students in South Korea.

• Students can study from home or anywhere they can access the internet.

• Students can complete their course work at a given time of the day.

• Upon completion of all necessary courses, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and gain eligibility of the English language.

• Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to takethe TOEIC SPEAKING or similar exam.

02PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Material: Collins TOEIC Speaking Description: TOEIC Speaking course is a 1-hour class daily. This is a practice for students who want to take the real exam for business eligibility. This book gives Hindsight how to respond to real-world questions and scenarios in spoken language. Uses common everyday key expressions used in the workplace environment.

Virtual Activities

Description: These virtual activities will run for the whole 8-week program designated to give opportunity to assimilate new technologies while designing diverse pedagogies in English language learning. Two programs will be opened, one in the morning and one in the evening depending on which is a better availability for the students. Each program will last for 2 hours and is scheduled every Friday.

Material: Impact IssuesDescription: It helps students develop conversation and discussion skills. Each of the 20 units features exciting and timely topics and contains activities to help students express their opinions and make short presentations. CULMINATION OF SECOND DAYExample

1:00-3:00 Virtual Level Test (Reading, Listening, Vocabulary and Writing) -This placement test will determine which level of book the student will study.

GETTING TO KNOW GAME SHOW MOVIE DAY

DETAILS/PREVIEW: This is the ice breaker activity –this will help the students and teachers to be acquainted with one another — their names, interests, experiences, memories, and so on. The results are often humorous, interesting, or fascinating.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: This fun ESL vocabulary game comes from an English TV game show. The game can be used as a general knowledge quiz or to revise vocabulary.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: Studying English outside the classroom. A diverse way of learning useful expressions, practice their listening skills in a fun and entertaining way. After watching the movie, there will be a short discussion about the movie, in addition, students will be asked to answer some questions about the movie (vocabulary, comprehension questions, etc.)

ENGLISH QUIZ BEE POP SONGS MULTIMEDIA

DETAILS/PREVIEW: This activity is where students

can test their knowledge of English with a quiz and have fun at the same time! There are quizzes for all levels - on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and

idiomatic expressions. This is done in groups of three, so they can also enhance their working relationship with their co-students.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: Learning and singing pop songs in class can be a fantastic way to motivate your students and to create a fun and positive learning environment. In this activity the

students will learn different English Songs because learning English is an ideal way to learn, remember and use new language.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: Multimedia class is designed to help ESL students improve their communication skills in English, through the use of pictures, commercial clips, short video clips, movie trailers and music video.


DETAILS/PREVIEW: This is based from an American television game show which pits two teams against each other. Students try to guess the most popular response to a survey question, and each team gets to play until an answer is missed. The other team then gets the chance to take over the game. The team with the most points at the end of the round gets to compete in the bonus round to increase their winnings. This will arise the students' thinking abilities about different categories.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: This facilitating role of drills in foreign language learning will help learners produce the language effectively. Drills are useful to improve fluency and accuracy. They teach learners how to respond quickly. During second language learning process, accuracy holds an important place. Speaking drill like Listen, walk and stop, Strategy Game, Jump in and Jump out.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: This genius game will awaken the cognitive ability of the students while still practicing their English abilities, through the use of their creativity.

GRADUATION DAYWORD BINGOMIND GAME

DETAILS/PREVIEW: Similar to the concept of the Philippine Variety Show “Pinoy Henyo”. The Mind game is a game that encourages deductive skills by guessing general knowledge vocabulary words. The goal of the game is for a player to correctly guess the given word through a series of deductive questions to another player, under the specified time frame.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: The activity says it all - this activity will put an end to the program.

DETAILS/PREVIEW: Bingo cards can target a range of specific language competencies, reinforce definitions, and learning new vocabularies. The gameplay also requires listening, reading, and usually speaking, so the students will be getting well-rounded English practice.
