About Us

We introduce ourselves as a ‘state of the art’ Tool Room situated at Bhosari -

the heart of Pune’s industrial belt.  Established in 1989, we specialise in design

and manufacture of all types of high quality Jigs, Fixtures, Special Gauges,

Assembly Gadgets, Inspection Equipment and Special Purpose Machines and

equipment. Our team, comprising of 16 qualified engineers and 15 experienced

technicians, work hand in hand to keep the company’s focus on customer needs,

product quality, and market competitiveness, which are the guiding principles

of the management.

We also strive to remain on the cutting edge of global technological

development, a fact that is recognized by many of our MNC customers with

whom we have worked to develop many machines by visiting their parent

plants abroad to study their existing machines and manufacturing processes. 

The quality of our services can be gauged from the fact that many of our

customers do not feel the need to have a Tool Room of their own.

We have excellent engineering and design facilities with the latest hardware

and manned by dedicated engineers trained in the latest CAD software like

AutoCAD, Solid Edge and Pro Engineer. However, we also manufacture

items to customers’ drawings and specifications, and are conversant with

most international standards.

Our Standard Room has been installed with TRIMOS VERTICAL

Measuring System for the inspection of our products.  We have almost all

the standard measuring instruments and equipment like Micrometers,

Vernier Calipers, Height Master, Granite Surface Plate, Slip Gauge Box,

Hardness Tester, etc.,

We are ISO 9001-2008 certified from TUV - as part of our constant

Endeavour for improvement and enhancement of the quality of our products

and customer service.

We have a separate Assembly and Testing Shop manned by trained engineers

and technicians.  The Shop is equipped with adequate tools, tackles and

material handling facilities including an EOT crane of 5 tons capacity.

Shell Expansion Machine

This is a Special Purpose hydraulic

press. The machine shown in the

photograph is of a Shell Expansion

Machine. This Shell Expansion

Machine is used to expand the outer

shell (pre-formed tube) to a slightly

larger diameter of an Electric motor

for easy and smooth entry of wound

stator pack into it.

The Shell Expansion Machine is

hydraulically operated to achieve the

high tonnage and speed control

required for the expansion.

All structural components of our

hydraulic presses are optimized

using finite element analysis to

ensure maximum stiffness and

Frame Pressing And Crimping Machine

This Frame Pressing and Crimping Machine is a

Special Purpose hydraulic press. The Frame

Pressing and Crimping Machine shown in the

photograph are for pressing the Stator Core Pack in

the Stator frame and then crimping the same.

Insulation Folding And Cutting Machine For Alternator Rotors

Insulation Folding And Cutting Machine

for Alternator Rotors typically have

insulation material of square U shapes, but

with unequal legs. The material widths are

also substantially more than that of

closers. This machine is specifically

designed for producing this paper.

The length to be cut as well as the number

of pieces required can be pre-set on the

machine HMI. The machine stops

automatically after the set number of

pieces are cut. The output is collected in a

bin.

This Insulation Paper Forming and

Cutting Machine for Closer (Wedge)

machine can also be used to cut plain

paper to length without any folding

operation, for applications like phase

paper insulation.

The Insulation Paper Forming and

machine is PLC controlled, and

completely guarded for operator safety

(not shown in the picture). The machine

works on 230V single phase input power

and uses compressed air for the cutter. 

Insulation Paper Cuffing And Cutting Machine For Slot Liners

The input to the machine is the developed width of the paper, which is equal to the core length+ 4 times the cuff height required. The machine produces cuffs on both sides and then cuts the paper to the desired length. 

The length to be cut as well as the number of pieces required can be pre-set on the machine HMI.  The machine stops automatically after the set number of pieces are cut.  The output is collected in a bin. 

Insulation Paper Cuffing Machine

The machine produces cuffs on both sides

and then rolls the cuffed insulation paper on

another bobbin for storage.  The liners can

be manually cut by a small photograph

shearing machine into the desired lengths. 

There is no PLC or need for compressed air,

and the input power is 3 phase 440V supply

to the 1HP electric motor with variable

frequency drive.  The machine can be

stopped after the pre-set length to be cuffed

is completed. These machines are most

commonly used in Motor & Alternator and

Insulation Paper Machines industry.

Insulation Paper Slitting Machine

These machines are most

commonly used in Motor &

Alternator and Insulation Paper

Machines industry. After slitting,

the Insulation paper is re-rolled into

bobbins for further operation.

The slitting length can be

programmed to minimize wastage.

Slitting is done using special

rotating cutters with no wastage of

paper during slitting. Rolls up to 1

meter width can be accommodated.

Core Building

These machines are custom- designed

for stacking, hydraulic clamping and

building stator core packs by welding

process. These machines are most

commonly used in Motor & Alternator

and Core Building industry.

The machine can be completely

customized as per specific requirement

for straight or skewed packs, manual or

automatic welding, vertical or horizontal

configuration, with or without hydraulic

pack ejection etc.

Trickle Impregnation Machine

The machine automatically meters pre-set

resin quantity for every stator. Resistance

heating provides economical and energy

saving impregnation method. These machines

are most commonly used in Motor &

Alternator and Resin Impregnation industry.

Single or multi-head plants can be offered to

suit customer production rates and sizes. The

typical cycle for a fully cured stator is about

15-25 minutes. The machine is PLC controlled

for process consistency. The machine has

recipe-handling capability for storing and

recalling programs for different models.
