PROGNOST Systems
Intelligence on Duty
The path to successful products and services always requires
an intensive dialog with potential users. Only by exchanging
experiences on a continuous basis it is possible to gain
the necessary knowledge of operator requirements which
results in useful products.
We define “Intelligence on Duty” using this philosophy: the
permanent integration of user requirements and practical
experience leads to state-of-the-art technology. This conti-
nuous improvement process ensures that PROGNOST pro-
ducts and services will continue to meet the ever increasing
expectations of our users in future.

“Information instead of data!“
In many cases, complex process machines are equipped
with inadequate protection devices, which are designed to
trigger an alert or emergency shutdown of the machine. In
this case, the operator receives no information about the
location and cause of the problem.
PROGNOST® goes a step further by and provides users clear
diagnostic information with the cause for the alarm or shut-
down as a basis for effi cient maintenance actions.
This is “Information instead of data”.
