Helping Hands Christmas Tree

The concept of the Helping Hands Christmas Tree Gift is to provide families in our school

community who might be finding it difficult at this time of the year. We can provide these

families with a gift for the children or a hamper of Christmas goodies to place under the tree.

Can you provide a little something for this initiative?

We are asking families in our school community to participate. Please contact the PFA via

[email protected] and we will provide you with some details – please note for all families,

that the recipient will remain anonymous to the donor.

From the President

What’s the news?

Hi all, end of year is fast approaching and all the activities this term make it come even faster. At our

meeting last week (where was everyone?) we decided to have a pre-Christmas craft sale on Monday, 11th

December to use some of the craft work Rachael H has produced and also some of the stock we have

from previous stalls. Any contributions, ideas or other help will be welcomed. Stay tuned for more details. We

will also aim for another low key end-of-year picnic at Wattle Park this year with all welcome. It’s a nice way

to round off the school year.

There will be a break-up meeting on Tuesday, 5th December (contact PFA for details) and an Annual

General Meeting for the PFA in March. Please start thinking about whether you would like to take on a role

in the committee so the PFA can continue. I know the school can function without a PFA, but parental input

will always be needed to keep the school well-funded and to help maintain a good community. We

appreciate feedback and fresh ideas.

Have a great week.

PFA President – Robin Fripp.

How can you help?
