Galatians 3:6-14 1. Faith in Christ makes me a __________________ of blessing. 6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Galatians 3:6-7 (NIV) See also Genesis 12:3;18:18 & 22:18
2. Faith in Christ secures for me the promise of __________________ (justification). 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” Galatians 3:8 (NIV) * Notice the amazing promise foretold in scripture.
3. Faith in Christ gives me the promise of the __________________. 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith…. 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Galatians 3:9,14 (NIV) 6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6 (NIV) 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let’s keep praying for N&W (with a&a), our IWs to Asian Spice region, and temporarily
in Canada. “We’re waiting. But it’s not a passive waiting.”
N will be returning to the Asian Spice region
for three weeks to put all their belongings into storage as the house they were renting
has been sold. They are continuing a process of prayerful discernment with
denominational leadership as to when they will return and what type of ministry they will
be involved in.
