Who’s it for?

Any UK Feed Business can register as a Member

All applications for Membership are “authorised” by PMS

Once authorised, you will have a unique Username and Password

These are used to ensure secure access to results and data submission

Results are only available to those providing data

How does it work?

You can input data for any scheme for which you are “authorised”

This could be just for Buying & Margins

OR .. Transport

OR .. Feed Production Costs

OR .. Any combination you want

The registration process allows you to choose whatever is appropriate for your own business

Next you you can add

Additional “users” in your company and give them appropriate Data Submission and/or Viewing rights

Locations- For example you may wish to put in productions costs for more

than 1 mill or you could have a number of transport depots/divisions

Each user can have View/Submit rights for specified scheme and location combinations

How? continued

If you are submitting data then you need a special “Plug-in” to enable you to see forms and fill them in

You will see where to get these from on the website

Then load the appropriate form from the web & fill it in

Don’t forget to print it off

Hit the “submit” button and “send for review”

This sends an email to PMS saying you have sent some data

We will do a few checks on your submission

We may ask you to review any possible anomalies

If so, you can recall your original submission off the web and amend it

How? continued

Otherwise we will “publish” the submission and it will go into the main database

Usually we will do this in batches

Then, when there are enough participants you will be alerted by email and be able to look at the results

When looking at results you can apply various “filters” and get insights into any sub-sets you choose

How? continued

To see anything, there must be at least 5 participants (Holding Companies) contributing to the chosen/filtered dataset

For any specific data cell, there have to be at least 3 “answers”

If not, the results are suppressed
