Pacific Premier Bank is proud to announce a revamped “Total Well-being” Program, which provides a more holistic approach to addressing and supporting the wellness of our employees. The program will include valuable information on total well-being education and also give employees a chance to participate in wellness activities, some of which have financial incentives for completing certain actions.

PHYSICALPhysical well-being is having good health and the ability to complete your day-to-day activities. Simple lifestyle choices like regular exercise, nutrition, and getting enough sleep contribute to your physical health. Physical well-being also includes managing and preventing diseases and the ability to heal the body. You can do this by visiting your doctor regularly for check-ups to keep your body running like a well-oiled machine.

FINANCIALFinancial well-being is effectively managing your economic life and feeling secure enough to cover your basic standard of living needs. Experts recommend spending money on experiences and memories, rather than things, and investing in others and relationships. Poor financial well-being is a significant cause of stress. Financial challenges often coincide with your life stage. Plenty of self-serve resources are available, but if finances are not your forte, consider sitting down with a professional to help you create a short-term and long-term plan.

SOCIAL & EMOTIONALEmotional or social well-being is having strong relationships with your friends, family, and yourself. Having a strong support system can help you overcome day to day challenges, lift your spirits and improve your quality of life. Experts say that volunteering, getting involved with specialized groups, or simply helping out a neighbor can contribute to your overall sense of community well-being.

A career should play to your strengths, foster an environment that allows you to work well with others, and have a leader that motivates you to share your passions with the company and your co-workers. 401(K) RETIREMENT PLAN• Through Voya Financial, allows eligible employees to save for retirement through pretax or Roth

deferrals. • PPB matches employee contributions through an employer match of 100% of the first 3% deferred and

50% of the next 2% deferred.• Search “401K” on the Intranet for details.

MORNINGSTAR RETIREMENT MANAGER• Through Voya Financial, allows 401K participants to access investment advisory services through an online tool.• Assists participants in taking the guesswork out of choosing savings rates, building investment portfolios and managing

retirement accounts. Helps keep participants on track to achieving their retirement goals.• Offers two options: Free advising or Morningstar management services paid by the employee. • Search “401K” on the Intranet for details.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA)• Through HSABank, allows employees enrolled in the high deductible health plan to set aside pretax dollars for healthcare

HEALTHCARE FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA)• Through FlexFacts for eligible employees, allows eligible employees to set aside pretax dollars for qualified healthcare

DEPENDENT CARE FSA AND ASSISTANCE• Through FlexFacts, allows eligible employees to utilize their FSA account to set aside pretax dollars via payroll deduction to

PUBLIC TRANSIT COMMUTER FSA AND ASSISTANCE• Through FlexFacts, allows eligible employees to utilize their FSA account to set aside pretax dollars to pay for their regular

ADOPTION ASSISTANCE• Provides eligible employees up to $5,000 lump sum cash payment for the adoption of a minor child through a domestic

service leave under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) or military leave under California law.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT• Provides eligible employees up to $6,500 per year reimbursement to improve skills and to enroll in college-level courses

COLLEGE TUITION BENEFIT• Through Guardian for eligible employees enrolled in a dental plan.• Use College Tuition Benefit Rewards at close to 400 private colleges and universities across the nation.• Each Tuition Rewards point equals a $1 guaranteed minimum reduction in full tuition.• Rewards can be given to children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Godchildren.• Details are provided in the Benefit Guide. FOR BENEFICIARIES - Provides supportive services that help your beneficiary cope after a loss:

• Grief Support: Clinicians with master’s degrees are on call to provide confidential grief counseling sessions by phone or in person. Your beneficiaries are eligible for up to 6 face-to-face sessions and unlimited phone contact. Additional grief resources can be provided based on the individual’s needs, and are age-appropriate.

• Legal Services: Your beneficiaries can obtain legal assistance from experienced attorneys. They can:• Schedule an initial 30-minute office and a telephone consultation with a network attorney. Beneficiaries who wish to

retain a participating attorney after the initial consultation receive a 25 percent rate reduction from the attorney’s normal hourly or fixed-fee rates.

• Obtain an estate-planning package that consists of a simple will, a living will, a health care agent form and a durable power of attorney.

• Financial Assistance: Your beneficiaries have unlimited phone access to financial counselors who can help with issues such as budgeting strategies, and credit and debt management, including hour-long sessions on topics requiring more in-depth discussion.

• Support Services: During an emotional time, your beneficiaries can receive help planning a funeral or memorial service. Work-life advisors can guide them to resources to help manage household repairs and chores; find child care and elder care providers; or organize a move or relocation.
