13 out of the 20 people who answered the questionnaire were females and 7 were males. We surveyed more females that males because our main target audience is females and we would therefore rather focus on this gender as they are who are more likely to watch our production and therefore their feedback and opinion would be more valid and useful for us to use.

These results show that we surveyed a variety of ages from 15 and above, however we concentrated on our target audience (15-20) which was 15 out of the 20 people who answered our questionnaire. We didn’t survey anyone below the age of 15 because our BBFC is 15 and therefore their opinion wouldn’t be relevant as they cant watch our film.

Do you watch short films?

We asked this question because we wanted to find out how many of our target audience watch short films and therefore are more likely to watch ours. Our results show that 14 said yes and 6 said no which is good as majority of the population who answered the questionnaire watch short films and therefore more likely to watch ours.

Out of the 20 people who answered our questionnaire, 12 people thought that our certification of ‘15’ is suitable for our film which is good as it is the majority of the people who asked and therefore would mean that we would get more viewers.

Our results from this question show that 18 people thought the location was appropriate and only 2 said no, this is good as more people are likely to watch it as if they didn’t approve of the location they’d be less likely to watch it as they wouldn’t understand why we chose that certain location.

10 out of the 20 people who answered this questionnaire thought black represents loneliness which is the majority, and red represented loneliness the least. We will therefore try to incorporate black into our film and logo.

8 out of the 20 people surveyed answered sexuality which is good as sexuality is a key theme in our film. 3 people answered physical and mental, and 6 people answered racism.
