2. The Pre-K/K program is designed to prepare students for learning. Theinstructor guides are filled with craft ideas, coordination developmentactivities, animal stories, Bible stories, character training, critical thinking,visual perception and listening comprehension activities. The core of theprogram is pre-reading with a new letter sound each week, fine motordevelopment, and skills that set the stage for strong reading and writing. 3. ACE Learning to Read includes two Instructor Manuals, Letter SoundFlash Cards, Song CD, 12 Word Building and 3 Math Workbooks, 12 Bible Reading workbooks and 12 Animal Science workbooks. 18. The Learning to Read program is designed to takestudents who have the foundational skills for readingfrom basic letter and sound recognition to reading. Theprogram is designed as a 12-15 week introduction to firstgrade. However, many parents use it as a more advancedkindergarten program by extending lessons and/ororganizing their week to include academics andextracurricular activities. By the end of the program, students are readingskillfully and can pick up a Bible and read well. 19. The instructor guides are filled with ideas forcrafts, physical education, and characterdevelopment.The guides outline step by step exactly what tosay and do each day to teach students to improvelistening skills and to read well.Students encounter a new letter sound every dayfor three days. Day four is a review of the priorthree sounds as well as the Bible and animalstories taught over the week. 20.
