Editing Our Footage• During the creation of our sequence, we had to go

through various websites to find decent music to layer over the top of our montage that would fit with the idea we had as well as being copyright free. We found so many songs that would work and fit with the footage; however, we couldn’t download them as they had been copyrighted so the main way we could find a good song would be to find an uncopyrighted remix of a song like the one we originally picked. We narrowed it down to two different songs, both remixed by the same artist and debated which one to pick as they both seemed good. We decided the best way to decide would be to edit some of the footage together first (about 10 seconds) and see which song fit the best over the top and coming to the conclusion this was the best, we downloaded this song and used this one

Creating our Company Logo• When we had to create our company logo,

it originally took us a long time to decide what to call our company and decided that this would be best due to how ironic it is making it suitable for a comedic genre of film. We added it to the editing software and realised that the logo wasn't of great quality so had to edit this in paint and save it as a JPEG and then add it again. To make it look like it fit well rather than just having an image flash up. We therefore looked through the transitions and found an effect that fit quite well with the image and then found a sound effect of a Panther to layer over the top of the image.

Extra Filming• When we did our first session of editing we

realised that we didn’t have enough footage of players looking at the sky at the ball flying through the air and the way we edited it didn’t look right. We therefore had to go back to the training ground the next day to ask another player to look up at the sky as if he was watching a ball. He didn’t understand what we meant so we had to get him to film it several times and use the power tool of video speed to slow the footage down to make it look right. We also had to put an effect over the top of the footage as it was filmed on a much brighter day so even though the footage still contains a glint on his helmet, the footage is darker so it isn't as easy to tell.

Audience• We tried to make the meaning of the film

and the main character pretty obvious to the audience as we used a close up shot as the end with a voice over the top of the voice of that character. It talks about him in first person implying that the film is going to be about him. It explains a brief history of him with the game so we get a good introduction to the film and I think it made it obvious to the audience. The fact that he curses in his speech makes it obvious that the audience has to be older like a 15 rating. We made it obvious what genre it was as well as when we showed it to others for feedback they all agreed it was obvious that it was a comedy.
